Do You Dream About Becoming A Pilot?

Do you want to Fly alongside the birds in the sky?

Do you like to Travel to Exciting and Exotic Places?

If the answer is yes, you have come to the right place.

Hi There,
My name is Les Batchelor. I am a retired pilot with over 14000 hours in the air and 20 years experience of training pilots. I joined the Royal Air Force when I was 17, where I was able to achieve my dream to become a pilot. Now I want to help the serious aspiring future pilots to realise their dreams.

One of the main challenges that you will face is funding your pilot training courses. If you DO NOT do your training efficiently and DO NOT plan it well, then you could waste $1000s. Most of my past students have struggled in this area.

My interest in flying started when I watched Spitfires and Hurricanes swooping around the sky like choreographed birds leaving long white trails that decorated the sky like a painter with a canvas. I was too young to realise that they were locked in battles of life and death. I grew up and joined the Royal Air Force where I was one of the lucky ones and able to live the dream.

After nearly 20 years I left the RAF and became a civilian pilot. I had a short career on heavy aircrafts before being grounded with a serious back problem. I duly had an operation on the back which was very successful but the recovery was long and tedious. To earn a living I taught driving, opened my own school and settled down to a new career. Gradually my fitness returned and I was able to expand the business, then in 1980 my daughter came to see me. We chatted about the family for a while then out of the blue she said;

“Why don’t you go back to flying now you are fit again ?” I replied quite snappily, “I have no chance of getting a medical and I have got the bug out of my system” ( I always referred to my flying passion as a virus. All pilots suffer from the virus of needing to be in the air among the clouds.) My daughter looked at me and shook her head. “You’re scared” she said “You are too scared to take the medical because if you failed then it would be over”.

&“Rubbish” I replied, I am happy as I am. Her riposte came quickly (she can be very bossy) “If you are not interested in flying why do you keep on talking about the clouds? Ever since you became fit your heart has been back in the sky. Don’t deny it.” She looked at me again and smiled. “I have booked a medical for you for next Thursday at 10am. It’s your birthday present so you cannot refuse.” ( If you have ever had a cat that has just been overfed you will know what I mean when I say she purred with satisfaction.)

IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS ABOUT REALLY WANTING TO BECOME A PILOT THEN QUIT NOW BEFORE YOU GET TOTALLY HOOKED.

Take the following test to see if you can escape.

1. Do you look at the sky and watch the clouds?

2. Do you look at the stars and dream of flying a spaceship to see them?

3. Do you bore your friends by talking about the sky and being a pilot ?

If you answer yes to any of these then I want to help you achieve your dream.

I was not brave enough to risk upsetting my daughter so I took the medical and to my surprise passed as class 1 to fly again. For two months I fought the bug and resisted the temptation to fly. Then in February 1981 a friend invited me to go flying with him. The day was one of those glorious still, clear winter days. Visibility was more than 40 miles with barely a cloud to be seen. We taxied out to the runway in a single engined Piper Archer and lined up to take off.

“Do you want to do the take off?“ my friend enquired.“No” I answered. As that plane rose into the air I knew my daughter was right.

By the end of that year I was back. I renewed all the licences and started my new career as a pilot instructor. For the next 20 years I taught commercial and private students to reach their goals. Some made it all the way some gave up early, some struggled but never gave up and some quit at the first hurdle. The toughest and most dedicated ones were the ladies. There were only a few in the early days but most of them achieved their dream. For me sending a student solo for the first time was the greatest pleasure and to see the look on their face after that moment … well there is nothing to match it for me or the student. Finally the medics caught me again and I retired.

Now I want to pass my knowledge and experience to the new generation of future pilots. The main challenge that you will face is the finances for funding your training. If you want to know the #1 secret to how to become a pilot on a budget, then you need to watch my FREE Video.
